9am Tuesday 9th July
Oxenford State School Hall
Everyone welcome!
Special invited guests will be attending. Local elder Justine Dillon and Kombumerri Rangers will deliver cultural activities to Welcome our school community to 'Country'.
NAIDOC Week is an important opportunity for not only First Nations people, but our whole school community to know that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the traditional owners of this land, where we have the privilege to work, learn and teach each day. It is an opportunity for everyone to learn about and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's history, traditions and culture through stories, listening to our local elders speak and see dancers perform at our school. All community members of our school are invited to attend the 9am Assembly.
