POSTPONED - Date to be advised
The Oxenford State School Cross Country for students from Prep-Yr6 has had to be postponed again due to
the ongoing repairs to the school grounds. This decision was not taken lightly and we sincerely apologise for
another date change, however, as always, the safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount.
In
accordance with our risk assessments, expected rough and challenging terrain is acceptable for Cross
Country running, however unexpected and unpredictable running surfaces are considered too dangerous for
our students. Rest assured when the repairs to the school’s infrastructure have been completed, we will be
holding the Oxenford School Cross Country Carnival.
Once again, we apologise for the changes to our
regular school calendar but in the interests of holding a safe and authentic Cross Country Carnival, there
wasn’t really any other option.
